Elementary School
Philosophy
Founded in 1952, Fuhsing elementary is a G1-6 school that provides a foundation for learning for all students in a safe and healthy environment. We focus on foundational skills in English, Chinese, math, science and social studies. We also stress on the importance of the arts, fitness, and technology on our students’ ability to think creatively and globally.
We believe that good discipline is essential for learning and should be based upon mutual respect for others. We expect our students to show proper manners at all times in and out of the school.
The goal of Fuhsing elementary school is to promote and educate the whole child and to inspire them to make meaningful contributions to the community and in the world.
Exceptional Achievements
Our students have been exceptional in 2019 Taipei City Annual Scholastic Capability Exams. 91.5% of our students scored higher than intermediate level in Chinese subject, against 82.2% of entire students in Taipei City. 85.6% of our students scored higher than intermediate level in mathematics, against 68.5% of entire students in Taipei City. 92.36% of our students scored higher than intermediate level in English subject, against 75.9% of entire students in Taipei City.
We have been awarded seven times during the last ten years as the champion of Taipei City Elementary School Group Award at science fair, boasting not only as a regular award recipient, but also the representative school in Taipei City to compete in the national science fair.
